Tom Kenny - Founder / Grant Writer
Tom grew up in Maine, where he learned the power of community and the impact that can be made when people work together. That sense of purpose led him to a career helping mission-driven organizations to secure the funding they need to grow and thrive.

He first discovered grant writing at Meals on Wheels, where he saw firsthand how essential funding could be for people facing hunger. Motivated by that experience, he honed his skills and eventually launched his own practice to support nonprofits and for-profits alike.
​
Since then, Tom has helped secure over $8 million in grant funding across many sectors — including healthcare, behavioral health, public health, immigrant and youth services, the arts, historic preservation, clean energy, and capital projects, including federal earmarks. Armed with a small but mighty team of skilled grant professionals, Tom provides reliable, thoughtful, and strategic support to organizations navigating complex grant research and application processes.

With a background in nonprofit leadership, direct service, and sales, Tom brings a grounded, results-oriented approach to every project. When he's not at his desk, you’ll find him hiking, camping, reading, or playing the accordion — usually with a strong cup of coffee nearby.
